Featured in BBC News
Our IMMEVR® team was featured on BBC News for our innovative idea of VR viewing of homes in Singapore.
It is an honor to have our work featured on BBC News, a broadcasting corporation well-recognised globally where we were able to gain recognition for our work on virtual house viewing which helps international and local clients to view homes in Singapore without physically being at the location.
In the article by BBC News, it mentions that buyers from mainland China have to observe their country’s strict fortnight quarantine on nearly all arrivals. So the founder of IMMEVR®, Christopher Wang coined this saying – “it makes sense to treat buying a house “just like online shopping”” which is very true as viewing homes online is like shopping for clothes, essentials and etc.
Mr Wang does mention that 5G networks will let headsets shift computing tasks off the device to the cloud and shed weight.
Lastly, he tells BBC News that “Once they become like glasses I think they will become mainstream” that relates very well to the bespectacled community who can’t see without their spectacles.
The virtual models are viewable on both computer and smartphone screen.
