Spotworks Renderings for URA Draft Master Plan
Spotworks is proud to support the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA)’s Draft Master Plan 2025 by providing visual renderings that help bring Singapore’s future urban landscape to life.
Unveiled on June 25, the Draft Master Plan outlines Singapore’s land use and development strategy over the next 10 to 15 years. Among its key proposals is the redevelopment of Bishan town centre into a vibrant sub-regional hub — featuring new office towers, a potential polyclinic, a hawker centre, and a landscaped pedestrian mall adjacent to Junction 8. The aim is to bring workspaces, community facilities, and public spaces closer to homes, reinforcing Singapore’s ongoing decentralisation strategy.
As part of this national initiative, Spotworks was engaged to create visualisations that help communicate the intent, energy, and human impact of these future developments. From illustrating the proposed pedestrian-friendly streetscapes in Bishan to highlighting green corridors and elevated walkways, our visuals are designed to support public understanding and spark imagination.
We also contributed renderings for proposed changes in the city centre, particularly along Orchard Road. URA’s vision includes the creation of a new “destination park” that connects Istana Park, Dhoby Ghaut Green, and Fort Canning via a pedestrian link — transforming Orchard into more than just a retail district, but a vibrant, nature-integrated urban experience.
At Spotworks, we believe that well-crafted visuals play a crucial role in bridging the gap between planning and the public. Our team focused on creating clear, engaging, and relatable renderings that help people visualise not just buildings, but the way future spaces might feel and function in daily life.
While we are not a planning or architecture partner, our role in this project reflects our broader mission: to support civic and urban initiatives with design clarity, visual impact, and audience empathy. We are honoured to contribute to a process that involves both bold ideas and public dialogue, and we look forward to seeing how the plan evolves in the coming months.
As Singapore continues to envision its next chapter, Spotworks remains committed to using design and storytelling to make the future more accessible, engaging, and inspiring for everyone.
